Tom Gledhill started in the finance industry in 1996 with Fidelity investments. In 1999 Tom switched from Fidelity to the mortgage industry as a loan officer where he immediately began to ascend through the ranks. In 2006, Tom began working as a Regional Manager, was promoted to a Senior Executive and a Vice President running all aspects of Sales and Operations. Tom has continued in that role and other leadership roles. Tom is a grower, he builds mortgage lending and real estate leaders and creates advancement and lucrative money-making opportunities for those he has managed. Mr. Gledhill has managed areas largely in the Western United States including offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
In January 2024, Tom joined First Colony. This new opportunity helps recognize Tom’s success as a leader and someone who truly cares about the individual loan officers and other employees with whom he works.
Tom’s drive and ambition has allowed him to weather the storms experienced in the mortgage industry. He uses these difficulties as teaching tools that have helped Tom become a smarter lender, a resilient businessman, and a compassionate leader and manager.
When not in the office, Tom loves spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys activities outdoors, such as golfing, hiking, mountaineering, skiing, and boating. In 2017, Tom had the opportunity to hike to the base camp of Mount Everest.
